For my first time, I ordered three picks of different shapes to try out, all on the thin side for familiarity. Because of a listing mix-up/confusion, I was kindly given an extra for a total of four (great customer service!). All the picks were beautiful and played beautifully. This pick seemed to pull out the tone best of all the shapes. My theory is because it is thicker in relationship to its size. I play mandolin, electric and acoustic. All four picks have their own characteristic - this pick will be my first choice for quiet lead work. Thank you very much - I'm recommending picks from here to all my friends.
